2008 Divots Volleyball Rules and Guidelines
Please be respectful of the property and premises
Clean up after yourselves and your children
Everyone entering the Sandbar, whether a player or spectator,
Enters at his or her own risks.
Ashtrays are available outside at tables. Please keep cigarette butts out of the sand
to keep the courts as clean as possible for a nice clean place to play.
Minors
drinking will be kicked out of the league along with the team,
on
which they play.
Anyone
who chooses to enjoy an alcoholic beverage must have an ID present.
Come
prepared and bring your ID every time.
Please
be respectful to other teams and players, and avoid inappropriate language
NO
OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES TO BE BROUGHT ONTO PREMISES
Water
and cups will be provided at no charge. The Sandbar and Grill offers everything
necessary for our customers at all times.
Outside items will be discarded by the Sandbar staff. Please inform us if there is anything that
we are forgetting.
Keep in mind that food and drinks are
vulnerable during play, the Sandbar apologizes for anything that may be
compromised and assumes no responsibility
(ie.
The Sandbar will not replace any spilled food or beverage)
Children
Kids are welcome, but they
must have a designated supervisor at all times. This person cannot be the substituting player. This is for the safety of all.
There are special designated
places for children to play in the sand.
If a child is found digging outside of these areas, the parent will be
responsible for raking the sand back to its original place.
Divots
is not held responsible for lost or stolen items. If items are lost or found please check the lost and found box at
the Sandbar.
Rainouts
will be announced on US 92 and 94 Rock
Make
up games will be posted
If
make up game is needed, then it must be make up within a week unless okayed
with Jesse or Barb. Games can be made
up on open courts.
Winner
of match is responsible for recording scores
No
scores forfeit for both teams
*Only
one free pitcher of beer will be given out per winning team each night.*
Coin
Toss for Serve or Side (Joust)
Best
of 3 games – rally scoring to 25
If
3rd game, flip again for side or serve,
and
switch sides when first team reaches 13
